soooo,

yesterday, during 'good news', one second grade friend shared that he had karate that day. 

"awesome," i said, "my husband knows karate."

another second grade friend:   "then why does he work HERE?"

it's true:  greg, with all of his karate experience,  is wasting his time as our school janitor.

I teach second graders now.

twenty-nine of them.

it's great.

and oh, how I love him more than anything in the world.

who work, even on thanksgiving.

i graduate really soon.

and you know what else?

i'm not even scared anymore to become an adult.

{maybe only scared that i won't get a job until august}
