(oh, how i love this movie)

and yes,

I did meet a man (in high school, actually. not rome),
that is wonderful, and brilliant,
and we are getting married!

mr. greg.

i love it when he laughs super hard during movies
and when he uses his serious face
also when i call him and he pretends to be an answering machine
i love it when he tries super hard to beat me at word searches (impossible)
and when he tries to explain guitar and business stuff in basic terms

he's super cute.

juiceboxes, baths, and dinosaurs

after a long, horrible day,
(much, much worse than Alexander's no good day)

I became a child again.

and it was wonderful.

I took a bath with dinosaurs,
read a story with monsters,
drank a juice box,
ran into the dirty garage with my clean feet.
and avoided my bed as if it would be the death of me.

sometimes,
I wish I was still a child.
That would be nice,
especially on days like today.

sick. .. of interviews.

"what is my biggest weakness, you ask?"

ummmmm.... ... ummmm...
probably my answer to that big, fat, question,
the one that everyone lies on and interviewers ask just to throw you off. . .
and, the one that I slaughter absolutely every time

oh, I love interviews.
especially when you turn to the girl next to you and realize she has her
umm, degree in elementary education and some papers in her hand and blah blah blah.

Yeah.

So, I've come up with a conclusion.

(even though I currently am not in school, doing my student teaching in the fall, living at home, and somehow managed to slide into a curb, resulting in a big, fat check)

I'm fine with my part-time job in Provo

Seriously though,
besides the half -hour commute, and three-hour long shifts,
(which I am working on to change)
I really do like it.

twenty-one

so, i'm twenty-one now.

i've watched a scary movie in a fort,
hemmed a pair of jeans mostly all by myself,
went to a ward party with a significant other,
performed the heimlich maneuver on a choking woman,
started a fire,
avoided cleaning my room,
had a top-ten embarrassing moment,
sniffled, coughed, sneezed, and more,
changed beds,
sipped the world's best herbal tea,
had the best valentines day in years (at least two),
kissed an unshaven man,
did not embarrassingly lose a game of balderdash (did not win, either - just mediocre),
laughed so hard that i've cried,
learned to be a little bit more assertive,
watched some of this wonderful movie that i have talked about,
learned to care less about unimportant things and more about the important things,
fell in love with this tv show,
drank some dr. pepper.

oh, how i love being twenty-one

i'm so happy that i haven't even bought my first alcoholic beverage. . .

the luckiest granddaughter

I simply have one thought today
 . . .
I love grandparents.
I love when they hug you.
Ask you questions about your life.
Whistle in the front room.
Serve you ice cream.
Hold your hand.
Kiss your cheek.
Buy you lunch.
Reminisce about old times.
Feed you See's chocolates and pies until you feel sick.
Interview your boyfriends.
Pull your teeth.
Giggle with you.
Listen to your stories.
Think you're the most beautiful, wonderful girl that has ever lived.
And love you no matter what.

I'm the luckiest granddaughter in the whole wide world.
